Bonding through shared music taste, real-life experiences, and a lifetime of friendship, Lil Durk’s Only The Family collective is true to its name. Joining forces to double down on their cultural impact as street griots, Durk and OTF share Loyal Bros 2, the fifth OTF label compilation tape, out now via Only The Family/EMPIRE. The tape benefits from contributions from OTF signees like Doodie Lo, Booka600, C3, Chief Wuk, and more, as well as an all-star roster of features, including Kodak Black, Future, PGF Nuk, Icewear Vezzo, and Lil Zay Osama. In addition to sharing the new tape, Durk and OTF riser Deeski share the video for “The Block Is Hot,” an in-your-face heater that finds the OTF crew mobbing on a block in the South Side of Chicago.

The new 23-track tape is a testament to the resilience of OTF’s brotherhood, featuring posthumous appearances from King Von, energetic flows from THF Zoo, and iron-tough rhymes courtesy of Doodie Lo. The new compilation tape finds the OTF crew reflecting on the hardships of growing up in the trenches and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Although the clique leaves plenty of room for tough talk and desires to dust the competition, the theme of community and brotherhood is strongly felt throughout the project (cue Booniemoe and Von’s loyalty anthem “We Did It”!). Despite reeling in the loss of their fellow brethren, OTF carries the legacies of the departed while further establishing themselves as the next royal court of rap.
