Sheff G, the leader of Brooklyn’s premier crew and label, Winners Circle Entertainment, releases his new album From The Can (Winners Circle Entertainment/RCA Records). Produced entirely by Great John, the album includes features from Rowdy Rebel, Fivio Foreign, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie and labelmate Sleepy Hallow and Jay Bezzy. Sheff G also releases a music video for “No Remorse.” Directed by Aylo, Sheff’s weighty voice glides gracefully over a heavy bass production. Although currently incarcerated, Sheff G shares this album to thank his fans for supporting him during his time away. The album includes previously released songs “Break From It,” a track that shows a softhearted side of his artistry. “Drum Dummy” captures his pain and tough upbringing in Flatbush, showing that his spirit is still going. He also connected with Jay Bezzy and Sleepy Hallow in “Overseas,” where the three rappers showcased the range and talent between them.
