Album Stream: Trapland Pat “Trapnificent”

There are plenty of ways to describe Trapland Pat and his artistry, but he’s coined the perfect adjective that encapsulates it all: Trapnificent. If you’re wondering what it means to be Trapnificent, the South Florida riser’s new project has 18 tips for you to get on his level. Featuring appearances from his mentor Fredo Bang, BIG30, Mozzy, and Eli Fross, Trapnificent is out now via Bang Biz/Alamo Records

Armed with sharpshooting bars, chameleonic flows, and floating musicality, Trapland Pat brings a refined flavor to South Florida’s trap scene. Across the project’s 18 tracks, Pat keeps it player as he celebrates his ascent from running the streets to running victory laps in the rap game. While there’s a bunch of flex-heavy tracks such as “Put That Sh*t On” and the recently-released Astronaut Status” ft. Fredo Bang, Pat leaves room to share his redemption story and his motivations to succeed on “Stranded” and his “On The Radar” freestyle, which serves as the album’s intro. Over an array of diverse beats from 5x multi-platinum producer Dizzy Banko, Hardbody B-Eazy, Bankroll Got It and frequent collaborator, PepperJack Zoe, the Broward County blazer experiments with fresh flows and melodic cadences that will stick with you even after you’re done listening.

Although he’s best known for his Futurama-like smile and wide-eyed facial expressions, Trapnificent highlights the contrast between his appearance and his rhymes – you’d think he’d be an off-the-cuff rapper, but he’s cooler than a cucumber on this project. If this is your intro to Trapland Pat, prepare to be blown away by his unique sound!
