BabyK Osama, the fiery teenage rapper from Jacksonville, FL has just shared his EP, Before I Break Through, and released a new video single “Dirty Dancing” (Remix) (feat. Yungeen Ace). Across 13-tracks, BabyK exhibits his practiced showmanship and chilling delivery alongside a mix of exhilarating drill-style beats, laid-back southern cuts, and radio-ready hits. On “Yeh”, BabyK delivers blaring bars accented by his deep-toned, thundering vocals accompanied by a thumping kick-drum, catchy keys, and blasting bass. Before I Break Through also showcases a softer side of BabyK, with tracks like “Momma Cry” presenting his innermost contemplations about his cutthroat environment, mortality, and the trials and tribulations of his trying journey in hip-hop. The EP includes features from Southern staples like Doe Boy and OMB Peezy, and as well as hometown, Jacksonville bar spitters like superstar Yungeen Ace, & Jdot Breezy. “Dirty Dancing” (Remix) featuring Yungeen Ace, is a down-tempo, silky smooth track that demonstrates the versatility of BabyK, tailor-fitting his gritty delivery to match the warm tones of the song, while Yungeen Ace adds an extra layer of finesse to the remix. After breaking through on the scene in 2021 with the release of his project Genesis and continuing his run into this year with notable singles like “Ticket”, “Dumb Shit” (feat. Jdot Breezy) and “Monkey See Monkey Do”––BabyK Osama is solidifying his stance as one of Florida’s hottest acts with the release of Before I Break Through EP and “Dirty Dancing” (Remix) (feat. Yungeen Ace).
BabyK Osama has captured fans with his vivid imagery, passionate vocals, and consistent releases. BabyK grew up on artists like J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar, but his influence also draws from the likes of Kodak Black and Lil Durk. He first started to take rapping seriously while he was locked up, spending most of his time in jail writing. After he was released, BabyK Osama dropped his head-spinning single “Michael Phelps Son” which was subsequently released on his 2021 mixtape, Judgement. He continued dropping new music at a steady pace through 2021 before following up with his next tape BabyK 2, in early 2022, featuring the notable single “No Drive By’s”. On the heels of his recently released project Genesis, BabyK is already plotting his next move. “I just know I can get better. Each tape, once something out, I just be like, ‘Okay…Onto the next one.’ Tracks like “Dirty Dancing” and “Ms. Stacy” portray the talent of a preternaturally gifted MC and hitmaker, but BabyK has been working towards this point with a relentless determination, which is why he knows he’s going to get even better, despite everything he’s accomplished thus far.
