We recently sat down with Florida artist J Eaton for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about Jacksonville, moving all over the city, his experience growing up there, being one of the few white people in his neighborhood, recalls seeing a demon in his yard when he was 8, his mother battling mental illness, having to take care of her at a young age, dealing with a lot of pain & trauma, jumping off the porch, finding his love for music when he was 19, using making music as his therapy, starting to take music seriously after a year after rapping, being a caretaker for his father, names his favorite artists, the inspiration for his single “Keep That Same Energy”, his upcoming EP that drops in July, other upcoming collaborations projects, his definition of discipline, reveals one of the the biggest life lessons he learned, upcoming music, wanting to change peoples’ lives with his music, explains how he stays positive, and much more!
