Houston, TX: If you don’t know who June James is by now I don’t know what to tell you.
Houston bred music producer June “The Jenius” James has been working hard, establishing himself as a certified hit maker for many years now, and he has recently been enjoying the fruits of his labor. In late 2016 James signed to ATL powerhouse label T.I.G. as a producer after producing two chart toping records for Atlanta’s own YFN Lucci. At the young age of 26, Jame’s production credits include some of hip hops biggest names both in past and present artists – and with the launch of his record label The Hit Cartel he adds the title of ‘Executive Producer’ to an already impressive resume.
The Hit Cartel is home to both Magic and Laray Da Savage as well as an accomplished team of producers. James’ new deal with Empire will allow this label the freedom to release music while remaining independent and grant them creative marketing support. Dirty Glove Bastard is extremely excited for what they have in store.
