Here’s this weeks’ rundown of new music from some of your favorite artists in the game.

King Von – What It Means To Be King

King Von‘s estate delivers highly-anticipated posthumous album What It Means To Be King, released via Only The Family/EMPIRE. Over the span of 19 tracks, this new project includes features from G Herbo, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Dreezy, Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, and more. From beyond the grave, Von’s flair for inventive wordplay continues to permeate the work, using his prowess as a lyricist to find a common ground with listeners. His well-received flow and signature style dabbles between life, love, and the streets, giving rise to his emotional intelligence as an artist. What It Means To Be King further cements Von’s legacy in rap as one of the best storytellers. Long Live King Von.

Morray – Still Here (feat. Cordae)

Morray and Cordae link up for the soundtrack to perseverance with new video single, “Still Here.” The two Grammy-nominated, North Carolina natives use struggle as a catalyst for character development, reflecting on life through a series of personal anecdotes and soulful croons. This song is a constant reminder that even when faced with adversity, optimism is empowering, uplifting, and inspiring.

DaBaby & YoungBoy Never Broke Again – Better Than You

DaBaby and YoungBoy Never Broke Again join forces for their featureless joint project Better Than You, out now via South Coast Music Group/Atlantic Records. The 12-track offering is a reflection of their combined effort of not adhering to industry standards. They are arguably considered two of the most sought-after artists in rap today, despite the constant looming threat of cancel culture and media tactics. And yet, the dynamic twosome manage to prevail each and every time, proving that they are the culture – whether the world wants to admit it or not.

Joey Fatts – Bright Lights (feat. Allyn)

Joey Fatts releases new video single for “Bright Lights” ahead of his upcoming album, QUICCSAND, due for release March 18th. His latest effort is a personal narrative painted in Black, reflecting on his evolution as an artist, community leader, family man, and more. With Allyn on the hook to serenade listeners, and Joey’s amiable personality on full display, this new track leans heavily into community and the importance of making things happen on your own accord.

Baby Stone Gorillas & Wallie The Sensei – Do It Up

Baby Stone Gorillas and Wallie The Sensei show the world how it’s done with new video single for “Do It Up.” When BSG is involved, there’s no such thing as a dull moment. In the video, the L.A. quartet (EKillaOffDaBlocck, Top5ivee, P4K, and 5Much) and Wallie turn a mansion into a full-fledged house party, coupled with plush whips, money, and bad bitches. In a celebratory fashion, “Do It Up” incorporates those bouncy, West Coast synths BSG is well-known for exploiting, finding hidden pockets within the beat to use to their advantage. With a new mixtape (BABYST5XNE GORILLAS) due for release March 11th, this track is the perfect segue into their sonic expansion as artists.
