New Video: Krown Vic “Ricky Bobby”

Wasting no time after the release of his well-received Hourly Profit project last month, VA rap authority Krown Vic hits the small screen in the official visual for Hocus-produced standout “Ricky Bobby.” The drop follows Vic’s brief stint touring nationally with D Savage & Joey Fatts as well sharing local stages in D.C. with Lil Uzi, Gucci Mane, and 21 Savage.

“Ricky Bobby is one of my favorite records because it’s part of the lingo between me and my homies. We call making money moves Ricky Bobby. Like say someone were to ask what you doing today? You’d reply, I’m going Ricky Bobby and we’ll instantly know what you mean. Might not know exactly what the play is, but it’s understood you’re getting to a bag.”

Composed of 9-tracks, Hourly Profit includes a lone feature from fellow DMV native DukeTheUno in addition to production from 1onokey, Kidd Slopes, Hocus, JacobyVnem, DJ Kidd, Canprata, KellzMadeIt, and in-house instrumentalist Garso Dio. For the official artwork, Vic enlisted the theMSQshop‘s Creative Director OG ILLA, who took a page out of Rob Petrozzo‘sbook and recreated Lil Wayne‘s iconic Dedication series covers, adding a nostalgic accent to the cohesive collection of songs.
