“Off The Porch” w/ FishXGrits

Last week we sat down with Atlanta based rapper FishXGrits for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation, he talked about being born in Lafayette, Louisiana before moving to Atlanta when he was 11 years old, jumping off the porch when he was 17, getting game from his grandfather, the biggest lessons he learned in the streets, starting off writing poetry as a way to express himself, being influenced by Master P/No Limit & Cash Money Records, wanting to motivate others in his music, the inspiration behind his new film + sound track “I Don’t Like You In Real Life”, Southside of 808 Mafia producing all 9 songs on the soundtrack, working with Hoodrich Pablo Juan on the song “Pimp”., getting Peewee Longway on “Know That”, his plans to perform the project in it’s entirely with some aspects from the film, explains his stage name FishXGrits and much more!
