Some people (including grea8gawd himself,) believe Kanye West got his Donda release event mask idea from grea8gawd’s recent viral video clip with Benny The Butcher. Labeling himself the Gawd of Gawd’s, grea8gawd is staking his claim as the first artist from the upstate New York area. He’s hiding his identity, as he says “the words do all of the talking.” He raps a few times during the episode, and you can see that it’s not just idle boasting as far as his lyricism goes. During the episode, he shares stories of Griselda from the early days, discusses upstate New York’s hip-hop history, says a few profound things, discusses the younger generation of artists from his area, & even announces an EP entirely produced by 38 Spesh.
