Podcast: Sylk-E-Fyne (The Super Facts Show)

Sylk-E-Fyne is a pioneering rapper from South Central. Her group G.B.M. was on Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records. She went solo and released a pair of well-regarded retail albums that included the massive hit “Romeo & Juliet.” Her albums featured appearances from legends such as Too Short, Snoop Dogg, & Bizzy Bone. Due to her friendship with Tupac, she was the conduit for Bone & Pac connecting for “Thug Luv”, in fact, she appeared on the original version. She recently released “It’s Alright” with her longtime collaborator O.G. Lil Mama (who makes a brief appearance on the episode.) We discuss her career, Eazy-E, Tupac, Bone Thugs, Jerry Heller, West Coast rap, and more.
