#Podcast: Young Hump Announces Digital Underground Day In Oakland & Much More

Young Hump is the protégé of Shock G and the newest member of Digital Underground. In the Tupac Shakur biopic “All Eyez On Me” Money B played himself and Young Hump plays the role of Shock G/Humpty Hump. Musically they joined forces and have been releasing music and touring. We discuss what he learned from Shock G., Money B.’s seeming agelessness and continued skill as a lyricist, the underrated musicality of Digital Underground, Young Hump’s talents as an emcee (strong,) the outstanding merch DU has to offer, their new album, and Hump reveals that there’ll be an official Digital Underground day in Oakland this August. Make sure you scroll all the way down, I included some music. Trust, this ain’t no novelty bullshit to cash in on, not only is the original D.U. legacy honored, the new music retains the original flavor while still being a natural evolution.
