Dallas legend Mo3was a singular talent and a towering figure in the Dallas rap scene. His legacy and stamp on the city continues to thrive in his H$M Music label, with slick crooner Numbaa 7 being one of the artists Mo signed before his passing. Carrying the torch for his mentor, 7 is bursting onto the scene today, recruiting Detroit rapper, and newly minted XXL Freshman, Babyface Ray for “Difference.” Produced by Dallas stalwart Rob Stovall, “Difference” combines mournful piano with guitar, organ, and wailing saxophones to provide an ideal canvas for Numbaa 7’s soulful croon. Numbaa 7 counsels listeners to watch the people close to them for signs of their true intentions, while guest Babyface Ray warns aspiring VIPs to watch out.
