After several requests to work more song covers into his catalog, T-Pain is giving his fans what they’ve been asking for. On Wednesday (Feb. 15), the Grammy award-winning rapper announced that he’s on the verge of releasing a non-AutoTuned LP, proving that he still has the vocal chops to win over fans all these years later.

The album, titled On Top Of The Covers, will see the “Buy U A Drank” singer deliver his own renditions of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Dr. Hook’s “Sharing The Night Together,” Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life” (featuring Nappy Boy Entertainment signee NandoSTL) and Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs.”

The Masked Singer season one winner initially broke the news via Twitter earlier this week while responding to a fan. To celebrate the album’s release, he also revealed that two back-to-back concerts are in the works at Los Angeles’ The Sun Rose at Pendry West Hollywood  on March 17-18.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (Feb. 17) at 1pm ET / 10am PT via www.tpain.com.
