Three 6 Mafia formed in 1991 in Memphis starting out with the name Triple Six Mafia. Over the years the group has seen some changes in the members and have seen the success of platinum songs and albums, an Academy Award, reality shows and heavy recognition within the music industry from some of today’s most popular artists. The list below are some of the groups top underground songs that we released early in the group’s career and are some of the songs to take them from an underground group to a mainstream rap group.

1. Triple 6 Mafia – Ridin In Da Chevy, Pt. 2 (Feat. DJ Paul, Lord Infamous & Juicy J) This was released in 1994 on the album DJ Paul and Lord Infamous presents Come With Me to Hell Part 2. This groundbreaking album had many hits including the first “Tear The Club Up”.

2. Three 6 Mafia “Tear Da Club Up (Da Real 1995)”-  Off the Live By Your Rep E.P.  “Live By Yo Rep” is a dis song aimed at Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in 1995. It was featured on the E.P. of the same name along with a remastered version of “Tear Da Club Up” , which was the groups biggest song at this point off their career 

3. Skinny Pimp – “Midnight Hoes”-  “Midnight Hoes” was the 2nd single off Skinny Pimps criticality acclaimed album King Of Da Playaz Ball in 1996. Pimp is a Memphis legend and the album was his best work. 

4. Dj Paul featuring Skinny Pimp “Hit The Floor”- Skinny tells an amazing story over a slow piano riff with driving 808 drums. Paul 16 was one of the most popular mixtapes of that time and it included many hits including our 5th song. “Slanging Rocks” by Playa Fly

5. Lil fly – “Slanging Rocks pt. 1”-Featured on DJ Paul’s popular Paul 16 Mixtape, Playa fly’s voice and style are in a category all to themselves. Slanging rocks is an in-depth look into hustling on the streets off south memphis.
