Video: Doodie Lo “Got The Muscle”

Possessing the same Chicago swagger and hard-boiled lyricism as his Only The Family peers, Kankakee, IL’s Doodie Lo has the potential of becoming the next rapper to rise from the midwest. Already leaving a great impression on both his new and old listeners, Doodie announces Big Doodie Lo (Deluxe), an expansion to his debut project. Upgrading the project with six new tracks, including potential hits with guest spots from Toosii and Fredo Bang, Doodie peels back the onion of his layered personality and shares further insight into what motivates him to be successful. Offering a perfect blend of boot-tough bars and vulnerable expression, Big Doodie Lo (Deluxe) is an audible memoir of Doodie’s life and defines what it truly means to get it out of the mud.

Warming up his fans ahead of the release, Doodie shared the video for “Got The Muscle.” Released last Friday, the video sees Doodie kicking it with his OTF brethren while delivering an introspective look at his journey from the streets to opening for Lil Durk and Lil Baby during the “Back Outside” tour.

“Got The Muscle” continues Doodie’s consistent run of videos, including the street anthem “Nowhere” and the ode to his hometown on “Mr. Kankakee.” While standout tracks such as “Bodies” and “Killing You” flexes his street cred, songs such as the late King Von-assisted “Me and Doodie Lo” (9.1M+ YT views) and “Von Flow” are proof positive that Doodie makes loyalty to his loved ones a priority. Adding new songs featuring Fredo Bang and Toosii to a project that already featured verses from Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Yung Mal, BIG30, and the late King Von, Big Doodie Lo (Deluxe) is available October 29 via Only The Family/EMPIRE.
