Today, King Von’s estate shared the video for the recently-released single “Don’t Play That” ft. 21 Savage. Released last Friday, “Don’t Play That” helped achieve Von’s biggest single release day in his history, as the lead single from the upcoming What It Means To Be King album (coming March 4th) amassed 1.4M+ Apple Music streams, 1.2M+ Spotify streams, and 1.1M+ YouTube streams in just 24 hours of its release. In the song’s animated video, King Von lives out a wild day of mobbing with his crew and linking with his lady friend to ride through the city and head to the studio before meeting up with 21 Savage to speed off in a car chase. The visual complements Von’s animated delivery and 21 Savage’s ominous deadpan delivery atop the whirring Kid Hazel beat. The video follows this past Friday’s announcement of Von’s upcoming posthumous album What It Means To Be King.
