DC native MoneyMarr attacks every beat with electric tenacity and a lyrical ability that surpasses most artists at his age. Today, he dropped a new single and video, titled “War,” an intense, drill-influenced new anthem. Joining forces with Brooklyn drill mainstay, Rah Swish, MoneyMarr readies for battle in “War,” scheming on ways to grow his bankroll. In the video, directed by Wavylord, Marr and Rah Swish congregate with their associates in front of a powerful series of background images (including an image of The White House on fire and images from this year’s Black Lives Matter protests) as they flash their ice and offer a stern warning to anyone who would cross them.

“War” is the latest cut from Marr’s upcoming project, Millionaire Mindset which drops this Friday, 12/18 via 1019 GS/EMPIRE. The project is also home to his recent drop, “Cut Like That,” a relentless slapper that showcases Marr’s escalating flexes. “If you have a millionaire mindset, you’re always maintaining focus on improving your lifestyle until you become a millionaire,” Marr told me. “It’s like a Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ mindset.
