Video: Slimelife Shawty “Freestyle”

If you’ve checked out Slimelife Shawty’s new Lil Durk exec. produced Better Living project since it came out last week, you already know “Freestyle” is one of the hardest songs on there. If you haven’t checked out the project yet, Slimelife’s new video for “Freestyle” proves exactly why you should. He breezes through an array of flows effortlessly, as he mobs solo in a warehouse before the camera cuts to him spray painting the clothes of the hostage he’s taken. Spitting fire on the beat and letting everyone know he’s untouchable, he closes out the song with a message to his enemies: “Middle fingers up, I ain’t throwin’ no peace sign / F*** them boys for life.” The song’s trap beat is ominous but Slimelife’s ability to switch up his flows throughout the song is even scarier because at only 22, he’s just getting started.

Check out “Freestyle” from Slimelife’s new project Better Living, out now via Alamo Records.
