Video: Taleban Dooda “Trappin’ Ain’t Dead” ft. 42 Dugg

Taleban Dooda has been tearing up South Florida with his nimble melodics and raw lyricism. Today, Dooda links up with Detroit breakout 42 Dugg for a new single titled “Trappin’ Ain’t Dead.” The track borrows the chaotic sonics of Dugg’s native Detroit, recruiting producer Helluva to provide his signature rubbery bass and racing piano arpeggios. The stylistic change-up comes naturally for Dooda, who tones down his usual melodics and lets loose with a hard-charging flow, proving that he’s the top dog in his hometown. For the video, the duo mobbed out with the homies in Tampa, shortly after the Bucs won the super bowl (note multiple Brady jerseys found amongst the crowd).
