Toosii has shared “Pain & Problems,” a new cut that offers an introspective look at the MC’s life as he celebrates the success of his recent project, “Poetic Pain.” “Pain & Problems” doubles down on that set’s themes, tearing into the people who have wronged the Raleigh, NC, rapper and the slights that fuel his grind. The dark visual mixes no-frills shots with digital effects and live footage.

Directed by Drew T (with Toosii assisting on the story)and filmed in Florida at night, the video for “Pain & Problems” is fittingly low key. Sure, the South Coast Music Group chain glimmers and shines, but Toosii is mostly alone, contemplative and eager to find peace in his rapidly changing life. Poetic Pain displayed Toosii’s cathartic approach to rap, and on “Pain & Problems” he pushes away any unwanted distractions in hopes of discovering clarity.
