After his foray into movies and TV, a more villainous role finds Joey basking in the glory of his newfound success. However, it doesn’t appear as though he has lost a step, lyrically speaking. This new song definitely sets the stage for what’s to come from Joey Bada$$, the celebrated musician and actor. 

J.I.D – Surround Sound (feat. 21 Savage & Baby Tate)

J.I.D returns with a blockbuster single titled “Surround Sound” featuring his Atlanta rap contemporaries 21 Savage and Baby Tate. Throughout the track, J.I.D’s spitfire bars hit all the markers of what qualities give nuance to the freeform lyricism he’s most celebrated for. Before the beat switch at the 2:29 mark, the accompanying Mac Grant and Chad Tennies directed music video finds Savage flaunting his growth through a change in perspective, and Tate entrancing listeners with her seductiveness. This release comes at the heels of J.I.D being included on the Coachella lineup for 2022: his first-ever Coachella performance. 

Sledgren – Chill With Me (feat. Wiz Khalifa & Larry June)

Taylor Gang’s in-house producer Sledgren and founder Wiz Khalifa connect with Larry June for “Chill With Me.” Of course, the source responsible for this song’s supreme soundscape is none other than Wiz’s longtime friend and collaborator, Sledgren. Wiz and Larry trade vibes throughout the song, effortlessly creating a palpable sense of tranquility from the upper echelon section of the smoker’s club. 

EARTHGANG – All Eyes On Me

Earthgang release new song and video, “All Eyes On Me,” the second earworm from their upcoming album, Ghetto Gods. Olu and WowGr8 celebrate surviving yet another apocalyptic year on earth, despite feeling like the odds are constantly being stacked against them. Sonically, this record pays homage to family, one of life’s many precious motifs that’s often taken for granted.
