During our conversation she talked about her upcoming music video for “Ms. Get Back”, growing up between Charlotte & Boiling Springs, always being into music, jumping off the porch when she was 16, quitting college after 3 classes, starting to rap when she was 9, recording her first song when she was 16, being inspired by 2Pac & Biggie, listening to gangsta rap, starting to take rap serious last year when she walked out of her job, reveals her creative process, making her best music when she is pissed off, locking in with her producer Munchie, writing one of her songs while on shrooms, her thoughts on the music scene in Charlotte right now, the inspiration for her single “Speak Up”, her EP ‘My Turn’ that dropped in December, recording her single “Ms. Get Back” while she was drunk, focusing on singles right now, wanting to work with Baby Drill, challenges that she faces as a new independent artist, goals for 2023, motherhood, and much more!
