The new tape is packed with club-ready Texas-style instrumentals, complete with elastic basslines and driving percussion, with guest verses from Sada Baby and Fredo Bang. Through it all, Jade remembers what matters most, with the cover art depicting Jade, her daughter, and her mother as a united front, paying homage to the Wayan Brothers’ 1996 cult classic, Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
