22-year-old singer/songwriter Izye has released her incredible new single ‘YSL’ as her
career builds momentum. The singer, who boasts a versatile and soulful voice that has drawn in a huge fanbase throughtout her journey with music including her highly anticpated single 24 Hours!
Working alongside the esteemed producer KundoCrankin’, Izye has dropped fiery single
after fiery single, culminating in the release of her 2022 debut EP F**K BOYS, GET
MONEY!!! With each new release, the rising artist has shown how she can effortlessly
combine affecting lyrics with contemporary R&B beats, all held together by her truly
showstopping vocals. On the previous release, ‘Tiramisu,’ Izye gave us a clap-back break-up song that deserved all the success it got. But on her new YSL track, Izye’s lyrics and vocals sound more
confident and swaggering than ever.

‘YSL’ is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek song about what we want out of stardom and what we’re supposed to want. Over the song’s 3 minutes, Izye tries to visualize her future successas she half-jokingly, half-dreamingly namedrops all expensive fashion brands. But Izye
clarifies that her desire for stardom isn’t skin deep; she aims at “fabricated hoes” and those
who didn’t have to grind to get where they are now. The song’s polished production – R&B
trap beats and immersive, video game-sounding electronic modulations – makes it
surprisingly catchy and perfectly harmonizes Izye’s sultry vocals.

YSL is a song that encapsulates the dreams of a talented artist navigating the
industry’s struggles. Written with passion and determination, this track speaks to the
