Danny Towers drops off the video for his speaker-knocking track “Wookiez.” A highlight track from Danny’s latest album Safe House, a joint effort with his close friend DJ Scheme, “Wookiez” is a minimalist banger with bare-bones digital melodies and hair-raising percussion. The track lays a perfect foundation for Danny to alternately growl and whisper some staggered bars: “I pour a 4 in the pineapple Fanta, I probably forgot what I said/I get to upping that b*tch, I go dumb, they gon’ think I forgot all my meds.”
