The Legendz of the Streetz Tour was everything you could imagine and more.
With a star-studded lineup that featured select performances by DJ Drama, Fabolous, Lil Kim, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Jeezy (and Trina), We Are Live Entertainment delivered in all aspects of performance.
In route of what’s being considered the tour of the year, thousands of attendees flooded into the Greensboro Coliseum (which is a surprise considering the ongoing pandemic) for an unforgettable evening that encapsulated the essence of what hip-hop represents.
Combined, the superstar lineup has sold millions of albums worldwide, with too many streams to count for their respective catalog of records. Moreover, the Legendz of the Streetz Tour managed to squeeze two decades worth of music into one night, which is a commendable feat when you think about the impact each artists has had on the music industry.
From Lil Kim’s iconic dance moves turned meme royalty, to Rick Ross’ boss aesthetic and Gucci Mane’s ‘trapped out’ exchange with fans, there was never a dull moment once the lights hit. It was standing room only throughout the entire night, almost as if sitting down was against venue policy – but it wasn’t, people were just that excited to see their favorite act perform.
Despite Boosie Badazz’s absence, who has since been removed from the tour, Legendz of the Streetz was legendary in every sense of the word. There’s not much else to be said when some of hip-hop’s most iconic figures in music come together to celebrate the culture.
