Masta Ace & Marco Polo Drop New Video For “P.P.E.

Masta Ace, Marco Polo

Masta Ace and Marco Polo are working class heroes, making their living off beats and rhymes, but never removing themselves from the neighborhoods they call home. Today, they have returned with a video for the people in “P.P.E,” which comes from their recently released joint album, Richmond Hill. The song itself finds Ace penning about a sick society, lamenting the hard world that chews up and spits out those who don’t have the means to protect themselves.

The video, directed by Erzu Gonzalez, finds Ace and Marco taking a tour through their home neighborhood of Brooklyn, and also offers a nice easter egg for longtime fans of Ace, as he returns to the famous stoop from the cover of his classic 2004 album A Long Hot Summer.
