North Carolina’s own Mez shares his first release of the year. The prodigiously gifted rapper taps Kurtis Wells from a dreamy new single entitled “Call On.” On the track, Mez’s start-and-stop flow leaves room for listeners to really lean into what he’s saying.

The Grammy-nominated emcee hasn’t dropped new music in a while so it’s exciting to see what’s next. In the interim, Mez has also unveiled the accompanying video for his latest entry, which he also directed.
