Columbia, Tennessee artist Billy Jumpmane is making his debut in our pages today with his new mixtape Take It Up With God. Jumpmane comes from an extremely musical family as the blood brother of realistically the biggest musicians to ever come from Columbia, Bandplay and Chris King, so it is obvious that music just runs through his veins. His versatility is one of the first notable things regarding his musical style, blending beautiful melodies and strong thumping production while blending it all together seamlessly. My favorite tracks on the project are the southern-fried, slow-burning track “Prophet,” the melancholic and ambitious “Weight Watchers,” and his grateful track “Appreciate It.” I am looking forward to hearing more from Billy soon and definitely recommend his new project.
