person in “Wessmode EP.1.” His sensitivity to the topic comes from his
journey in battling his inner demons. The way these verses unspool shows
the hardship taken on to take control of one’s life entirely. Production has a
dark, threatening aspect to it. Nice trap beats, deep bass, and the sound’s
heaviness work perfectly alongside his message’s heaviness. Anxiety,
depression, sadness, and anger are woven into the announcement of the
whole EP.

“S.A.D.” sets the tone. Hushed, clipped, mournful melodies linger before
the beat drops as pure nightmare fuel. On “Waiting,” a smidgeon of hope
radiates. The sound’s warmth helps give it a purposeful stance, like looking
