Future’s ‘One Big Party Tour’ Sells Out in Charlotte

Future

Future sold-out Charlotte’s Spectrum Center last Friday (Jan 13), proving that nothing is bigger than the bird.

The Grammy-winning rapper’s One Big Party Tour made landfall in the Carolinas last week, playing to a standing-room only crowd of diehard hip-hop fans. For one night only, thousands of people flocked to the Freebandz-led show and were greeted with special guest appearances, a run of anthemic ballads and all out fun.

Concertgoers braved long lines and crowded walkways while waiting to see performances from a medley of acts which included Lil Jairmy, Doe Boy, EST Gee, Babyface Ray, Polo G, Lil Durk (who was accompanied by OTF member Doodie Lo), Young Scooter, fellow Atlanta rap star T.I., and Charlotte’s own DaBaby to name a few.

Future delivered his larger-than-life set of classic cuts throughout the night, ranging from “Itchin,” “Chosen One” and “Mask Off” to his Grammy-nominated collaborative hit “WAIT FOR U” and much more.

By most accounts, the rapper-turned-mogul can do no wrong when it comes to crafting hit records, as evidenced by his perennial run in rap. And judging from the crowd, which included fans from different races and nationalities, Future is for the people – all of us.
