It’s a Friday in the 4th quarter which means a bunch of new albums were released today as labels attempt to squeeze out every last $0.00423 from consumers & streaming sites before everyone in the office jets out for vacation and contemplates a new career with less stress, like being Young Dolph’s bodyguard. So rejoice as we’re gifted to albums we never knew we wanted! Like a joint project from Lil Durk & Tee Grizzley, a new Juicy J album that features everyone you don’t want him to collab with, a QC Music album that has 30(!) songs and Quavo is featured on like 59 of them (OK, this is something we definitely wanted!) and finally, an album of what is sure to be full of some great Metro Boomin masterpieces, wasted, at least to us, on Big fucking Sean. Next week offers another odd assortment of “yes!” and “wtf!” as Scarface (GOD!), Boosie (the leaks have been very good! *minus that London Jae crap), Jeezy (ehh), Slim Thug (you can always count on Slim to deliver a few really good tracks and an unexpected big-name feature), Eminem (Jesus Christ, why!?!), & Jeff Chery (his debut album!) all have albums coming out next Friday. Stream this week’s batch below.

Quality Music presents Control The Streets, Vol. 1
Features Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Tee Grizzley, Travis Scott & more. Offset’s “Pussy” adlib on “Ice Tray” after Quavo disses Joe Budden is the most disrespectful adlib ever.
Lil Durk X Tee Grizzley Bloodas
No features but that’s probably for the best. I haven’t heard any songs yet, but this will get most likely get some spins before I forget that it ever existed by February.
Juicy J Rubba Band Business
Features Project Pat, A$AP Rocky & who gives a fuck.
Metro Boomin & Big Sean DOuble Or Nothing
Features 21 Savage, Young Thug & 2 Chainz, apparently. Still not enough for me to hit play on a Big Sean record.
