Video: GRIP “Cook Up” + Mixtape: “5 & A F*** You

Atlanta lyricist and Shady Records signee GRIP releases the video for track, “Cook Up” off his latest mixtape “5 & A F*** You”. Watch HERE.

The video is the first visual of many to come as GRIP ends the year by releasing a video a week to commemorate the release of ““5 & A F*** You”. The visual shows footage from GRIP’s largely sold-out tour across North America with Westside Boogie this fall, paired with ample facetime of the rapper as he spits the lyrics directly to the fans.

5 & A F*** You” follows 2022 singles “Emo Stick” and “Dirty Work,” which racked up millions of streams between them. The 12-track project once again situates GRIP as one of the most impressive bar-for-bar MCs in the game. Listen to 5 & A F*** You HERE.

5 & A F*** You is the first release from GRIP all year. The project gives fans more than enough to digest including unforgettable cuts like the woozy “Benzo,” nostalgic “‘94 Flow,” and the insightful “Value Mall.” This is a collection of expertly crafted tracks to be savored and explored — that is until GRIP’s next batch of tracks hits.

5 & A F*** You begins where the rising MC’s Shady Records debut, I Died for This!?, left off. An incredible display of his verbal dexterity, mental acuity, and often hilarious personality, the new project reminds listeners why Pitchfork called I Died for This!? “urgent and thrilling.” If I Died for This!? was GRIP’s way of introducing his acerbic wit and dead-eyed nihilism to a new audience, 5 & A F*** You captures an artist fully locked into every aspect of their craft.
