Video: LUCKI “Coincidence”

LUCKI is an artist that never stops evolving. Today, he linked with his old pal and fellow Chicago-native, Cole Bennett, for a new video titled COINCIDENCE.” Filmed on a trip to London a couple months back, where LUCKI played his first ever sold-out European show, the video finds LUCKI stunting his impressive collection of backpacks in front of a Rolls, while intermittently cutting to Cole’s kinetic animations. The duo have been friends for years, made evident earlier this week when Cole dropped the video for “DOUBLE CHECK” that they shot back in 2016 with Kenny Beats on the ones and twos. The vid shows not only how far Cole has come in developing his unique visual style, but more importantly how long LUCKI has maintained his status in the rap game while continuing to grow and reach new fans. He’s amassed 350 million on-demand streams in 2022 alone, bolstered by hits like “SUPER URUS” and “Y NOT?“. “COINCIDENCE” aims to be no different, as he preps for his long-awaited album, FLAWLESS LIKE ME, out later this year.
