ShooterGang Kony and Lil Bean go head to head for a late night street race in the Mariano Valentino-directed video for their new single, “Up2Date,” which is out today via EMPIRE. The Fast & Furious-inspired visual is the latest from the frequent collaborators who have been at the forefront of the new generation of California street rappers. Previously, the duo connected for “Industry,” from ShooterGang Kony’s acclaimed 2020 album Red Paint Reverend, and for the single “Jeff Hardy,” which was released earlier this year. ShooterGang Kony has been setting the stage for his next studio album, Star Shooter, which he introduced with the release of “Over They Head” last month. “Up2Date” is another warm up that shows how effortlessly Kony can deliver original wordplay.
