Video: TEC “Spider Bang”

Baton Rouge rapper TEC released his new track “Spider Bang. Produced by PhilGotAnother1, “Spider Bang” is the lead single off TEC’s upcoming album Web Life IV – out September 16th via his label partnership with Asylum Records.

TEC, the self-proclaimed poetic activist and CEO of Spider Nation, has organically built his fanbase since the early 2010s. With a string of notable mixtape releases and critical acclaim from XXL, HipHopDX and HotNewHipHop, TEC is poised to carry the torch for Louisiana rap following in the footsteps of Lil Wayne, Boosie BadAzz and Kevin Gates.

Within deft rhymes and hypnotic melodies, TEC shows the toughest corners of street life and its consequences in order to seek wisdom and redemption rather than just flossing. “It’s not just rapping; I want to be a poetic activist,” he explains. “I love so much hip-hop, but the majority of artists are talking about cars, women, and a lot of the same subjects over and over again. I give you both sides of those stories and situations. If you’re woke and watching, I try to rhyme like a poet for the people.”
