We cover a lot of artists from cities not usually associated with having a rap scene or frankly art or music scenes at all and that is certainly the case today with Martinsburg, West Virginia rapper Big Sheem, who despite geography working against him is obviously talented enough to turn music into a career nonetheless. His latest video for his song “Big Steppa” is an incredibly turnt-up track borrowing heavily stylistically from close-by DC, and Sheem walks all over this beat and brings even more energy to the song with his unbridled ad-libs. I am looking forward to hearing more music from Big Sheem and hope he stays consistent with dropping music.
