Watch: Sho Baraka x Mag44 “Black As Heaven”

Joined by Mag44, Sho Baraka delivers the Nasia Danielle co-directed visual for “Black As Heaven.” Subtitled ‘Portraits of Blackness,’ the HD clip continues the creative campaign for Our Daily Bread Ministries’VOICES Collection presented Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom documentary’s official soundtrack. Sticking to Sho’s signature style of relevant and thought-provoking crafted content, the small screen interpretation of the Derek Minor-produced standout serves as the first of two videos shot for the song.

Curated by Rasool Berry, Our Daily Bread Ministries’ Director of Partnerships & Content Development, the soundtrack, which boasts 13 cohesive cuts, echoes the truth and revelation of how the recently recognized federal holiday Juneteenth came to be.

The project includes the aforementioned collaboration and “Where Do We Go,” both crafted by Baraka as well as “Black Reconstruction” – a posse cut with Lecrae & Propaganda. Additional guest features and production come by way of S.O., Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson, Carvena, Marqus Clae, Chill Vibes, Reflect, Mark Evan Diaz, Lucius B.
