YTB Fatt enters into his R&B era with a new two-pack single. Same, out now, is a dual release that features two songs: the title track, “Same,” and “I Love U.” The former is a modern day flip on R. Kelly and Usher’s throwback hit “Same Girl,” while the latter interpolates Lenny Williams’ classic “‘Cause I Love You.” For the lead single, Fatt peppers the track with his signature slick rhymes as he narrates a compelling tale about two friends falling for the same woman. Both loosies add more depth to YTB Fatt’s solo discography as he maneuvers through the R&B-tinged instrumentals with ease.
