Video: Rob49 “Product Of The Trenches”

Rising New Orleans rapper Rob49 is back with an explosive new single, “Product of the Trenches, out today via Rebel Music/Geffen Records. Listen HERE. The Schife & Looisey-produced song puts the young MC’s high-energy flow front and center, as his gravelly voice speeds and drifts alongside their propulsive production. “Product of the Trenches” is available now at all digital retailers. You can watch the video here.

On “Product of the Trenches,” Rob49 plants his foot on the gas in this ride down memory lane, racing relentless percussion with his own rapid flow. “Yeah I’m humble but I’m litty,” he raps,
I was trying to tell them I was the greatest, they ain’t see it in me.” With its raw lyricism, growling delivery, and a menacing beat that could bust car speakers, “Product of the Trenches” is the sound of Rob49 surveying his now-conquered kingdom.

The track comes after Rob49 repped his hometown—and his home team—in a promo video for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints. In addition to narrating the pre-season hype clip, Rob49 also soundtracks the video with his braggadocious track “Undefeated.” Additionally, the 23-year-old recently shared “Houston Girls,” collaborated with Real Boston Richey (“Yes, You Did”) and Kevin Gates (“Hustler’s Anthem V2”), and toured with Jacksonville native Nardo Wick.
