New Music Monday | Chief Keef, STANY, $NOT, Snupe Bandz, and Mia Gladstone

New Music

Here’s this weeks’ rundown of new music from some of your favorite artists in the game.

Chief Keef – “Racks Stuffed Inna Couch” & “Tony Montana Flow”

Chief Keef has officially announced Almighty So 2 (due December 16th), the follow up to 2013’s iconic Almighty So mixtape. Alongside the announcement, Sosa also dropped off two new singles – “Racks Stuffed Inna Couch” and “Tony Montana Flow.” And by the sound of things, Sosa’s in rare form, attacking beats from start to finish with his signature flow and easily digestible one-liners.

STANY – Only You (feat. Rema & Offset)

Afro-French DJ/producer STANY enlists the help of Nigerian luminary Rema and Atlanta’s very own Offset for his debut single, “Only You.” In the video, Rema & Offset bring the record’s feel-good energy to life as they serenade listeners over Stany’s smooth infusion of Afrobeats, House, and Hip-hop, amounting to a track that is the perfect bookend to summer.

$NOT – SIMPLE

In the famous words of Lauryn Hill, “It could all be so simple.” And for Floridian rapper $NOT, he wouldn’t have it any other way, as evidenced by the title of his latest single. With “SIMPLE,” $NOT relies on a breathy flow to talk his way through everyday struggles. When he wakes up, money is the first thought that comes to mind but a closer examination reveals that $NOT is a hooded man of integrity with certain interest in mind.

PaperRoute Woo & Snupe Bandz – Loyal

Snupe Bandz and PaperRoute Woo double down on their allegiance to the Paper Route in their new visual for “Loyal.” Alongside the video, Snupe and Woo deliver their joint project Boyz N The Hood. The 15-track release includes features from Bankroll Freddie and fellow Memphis native Duke Deuce, capitalizing on the PREexisting momentum introduced with recent collaborations (“Dam Fool” and “Straight Like That”).

Mia Gladstone – Open Letter (feat. Teezo Touchdown)

Fresh off her newly minted LOOPY release, Mia Gladstone writes an “Open Letter” to Teezo Touchdown in her latest video single. The video brings a claymation version of Teezo to life while spotlighting Mia’s off-kilter delivery as she rides off into the cosmos. From the battery powered Pink Lamborghini to a seven second trek across land and sea, there’s a lot to unpack here, but “Open Letter” is a subtle reminder that imagination is the foundation for creativity.
